Technology is preparing to offer us regulate of our health. I lately attended the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, and I was absolutely blown away by technology that could possibly have a big effect on the future of healthcare in the United States. Prior to I share some of my favorites, let me clarify why this technology is so important. I've been saying for a long period of time that our healthcare system is overweight. It's fat and slow and can't achieve exactly what we need it to do, just like many of us who have actually given up duty for our very own bodies. You simply have to look at the stats for diabetes in the U.S. to see the extent of the problem.
