Three senior ladies died after a caregiver at their California senior-care facility served them poisonous mushrooms. (ABC NEWS). Another individual has died from unintentional mushroom poisoning at a California senior care facility, bringing the total death toll to 3. The 3rd victim, whose name, age and gender have actually not been launched, died on Saturday, according to the Associated Press. The first two senior ladies died after a caregiver at their senior care facility unintentionally served them a dish with poisonous mushrooms picked on the Loomis, Calif. , property. The caregiver and 3 other citizens of Gold Age Villa were hospitalized, according to WTEN-TV, the ABC News associate in Sacramento. Teresa Olesniewicz, 73, died Friday morning, and Barbara Lopes, 86 died Friday night, according to the county coroner. "It looks like a tragic accident," said Lt. Mark Reed of the Placer County Sheriff's Department.
