A face-to-face instructional method utilized amongst Orthodox Jews obviously resulted in a U.S. outbreak of mumps in 2009 and 2010 although most of those contaminated had actually been correctly vaccinated, according to a U.S. research. The outbreak, detailed in the New England Journal of Medicine, indicates how close, duplicated contact with a contaminated individual could overwhelm the mumps vaccine, the researchers stated. "The risk of infection with mumps may be higher when the exposure dose of virus is large or intensely transmitted," wrote lead author Albert Barskey, of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) National Center for Immunization and Respirators Diseases, and associates. This could also clarify why the mumps vaccine tends to be less effective amongst household contacts than amongst school or neighborhood contacts, they included.

  • Aggregate Sentiment is meant to be an indicator of an individual's overall sentiment.
  • The Mean is meant to be an indicator of an individual's average comment sentiment.
  • The Standard Deviation, when there are enough quotes, will indicate an individual's consistency of sentiment (i.e. a Standard Deviation of 0 would mean they were very consistent in their sentiment and 1 would mean they were very inconsistent).

Note that quote stats are likely to be meaningless beyond the aggregate score due to the tiny sample size. However, they are always provided just in case you find something useful there.
