Family spokesman Jim McGrath said Saturday he would release a statement if there was anything to report, but wasn't sure there would be. McGrath said Friday that the 88-year-old Bush's condition continued to improve since moving into intensive care at Methodist Hospital on Sunday. Later Friday, McGrath said that updates on the president would come on an "as-warranted" basis. Bush was hospitalized Nov. 23 for treatment of a bronchitis-related cough. Bush, the 41st president, is the country's oldest living former president by a few months.
