NEW YORK -- Nine people were injured when a fire ripped through a residential building in the Bronx on Thursday, officials said. The blaze started at around 7:30 p.m. ET in Longstreet Avenue in Throgs Neck. Three children were among those hurt, according to authorities. All nine victims were taken to Jacobi Medical Center.
